"12 Days of Christmas Sweat Sesh"

Feeling a little bloated from all the holiday treats and parties? Here’s a festive, high-intensity workout to help your health bounce back in time for the New Year! 

Created with a popular Christmas tune in mind, our 12 Days of Christmas Sweat Sesh is perfect for a quick, full body workout. The best part? You don’t even need to go to the gym. 

Bonus points if you listen to The 12 Days of Christmas while completing the workout, and double bonus points if you can convince your relatives to join in on the fun!

12 Days of Christmas Sweat Sesh

 

Instructions:

Complete this workout pyramid style, beginning with Exercise 1.  

Example: 1 Burpee. 1 Burpee, 2 Inch Worms. 1 Burpee, 2 Inch Worms, 3 Box Jumps, etc. Your final set will be all 12 exercises. 

 

Modify the exercises as needed to fit your health goals and try to complete the workout without taking a rest. If you need a break, limit it to 30 seconds or less.  

 

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me…

 

1 Burpee

2 Inch Worms (For an added challenge, hold for three seconds at full plank position) 

3 Box Jumps (If you don’t have a box or bench, switch out for Tuck Jumps)

4 Jumping Lunges

5 Pop Squats

6 Calf Raises

7 Jumping Jacks 

8 Sit Ups 

9 Bicycle Crunches

 10 Supermans

11 Push-Ups 

12 Elbow to Hand Planks
