Happy 2018 Vukoo Tribe!

We’re already five days into the new year, and we could not be more excited for everything that’s in store for 2018! Do you have big plans? Exciting goals? Inspiring resolutions? We know we do and we can’t wait to bring you all along for the ride!

To jumpstart the year, we thought we’d share this killer back-to-work, post-holiday HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) routine. This workout is a fun, high energy sweat sesh and it’s the perfect way to burn off all those drinks and sweets from the holidays! Make sure to bring your bottle of water—you’re going to need it.


Post-Holiday HIIT Session

For this workout, you will need a rower. If you don’t have access to a machine, you can modify the 300-meter rows for 300-meter sprints or 300 meters on a stationary bike—anything that will get your heart pumping.

As this is a HIIT Session, you want to be moving fast through this routine. Focus on keeping a steady, quick pace and monitoring your breathing. You can also modify exercises for injuries as needed. And have fun!

300 Meter Row (Sprint)
20 Air Squats (or Jump Squats for increased difficulty)
15 Push-Ups
10 Mountain Climbers
5 Burpees
300 Meter Row (Sprint)

Complete 3X with a 1-minute rest/water break in between each round


As always, we recommend stretching before and after your workout. You can warm up for this HIIT session with a few minutes of jump rope or a short jog. Make sure to stay hydrated both before, during, and after your workout. And eat a nutritious and energizing meal shortly after you’ve completed the session.
