While we prefer to #optoutside on Black Friday, today can be a great time to snag some holiday gifts for the ones you love. For those of you who do decide to brave the stores this weekend, we’ve compiled a list with some of our favorite gift ideas for the health-conscious, fitness fanatics in your life. All of these gifts are not only made to last, but they will promote wellness and healthy living for your loved ones. And, when possible, we recommend shopping small and local (most of these items can be found in your neighborhood stores).
Happy Shopping!
1. Gym Membership
Gift your loved ones with a membership to their local gym, yoga studio, or Crossfit box. Whether a stamp card or annual membership, this gift is thoughtful and often needed as gym memberships can tend to be pricey.
2. Juicer
Juicing daily, or even a few times a week is an easy way for your loved ones to get their intake of vitamins and nutrients. Juicers run in all sizes and are a perfect, long-lasting gift for the health conscious person in your life.
3. Food Processor
Another staple for the kitchen, food processors are great for making sauces, dressings, hummus, and more from scratch. This is often healthier and saves a lot of money. If you want to give your loved ones a gift they can use all year long, a food processor is a great choice.
4. Spotify or Pandora Membership
Power to anyone who can exercise without music, but for the rest of us, music (and preferably commercial-free music) is a must. A monthly or yearly membership to your loved one’s preferred music app is a gift that is sure to be appreciated.
5. Water Bottles
On a budget this year? Water bottles are a great, affordable gift option for the fitness and health fanatics in your life (although everyone should be drinking enough water)! With so many sizes, colors, and brands, water bottles are always useful as they can be used time and time again. Try to shop for BPA-free and recycled bottles.
6. Cookbooks
For the chefs in your life, health-focused cookbooks are a wonderful holiday gift. And there are cookbooks for just about every diet—vegan, gluten-free, paleo, etc. Help your loved ones spice up their meal-plan with some fresh and delicious recipes!
