The weekend is here, and we couldn't be more excited to spend it watching the Olympics! But first, we need a few healthy recipes to snack on during the games.
Below, you'll find our very favorite finger foods and snacks to eat while watching sports and—of course, the 2021 Olympics. Try one of these recipes in your own kitchen! Then share your review with us on Facebook and Instagram! Oh, and don't forget to weigh in on your favorite sport and athletes!
1. Crispy BBQ Roasted Chickpeas
Recipe by: Minimalist Baker
Looking for something with a crunch? We love snacking on these roasted chickpeas from one of our favorite recipe authors, Minimalist Baker. These are gluten-free, vegan, and most importantly, delicious. They are also incredibly easy to make, with only chickpea, oil, and a few simple spices. Make sure to bake a bunch—you'll definitely want seconds!
2. Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip
Recipe by: The Clean Eating Couple
Chips and dip, anyone? This recipe has us feeling good about double dipping. It's both keto-friendly and gluten-free, and it's made with cottage cheese, greek yogurt, cooked chicken, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese. And that's it. Of course you won't want to eat the whole pan, and we recommend subbing veggies for chips. But ultimately, it's a great option if you're craving store-bought game-day dips.
3. Egg Muffins
Recipe by: Immaculate Bites
Waking up early to watch some of the Olympic games? There's a snack for those morning hours too! These egg muffins are reminiscent of the ones from Starbucks, except way better. Plus you can customize them with your own favorite fillings—we like mushrooms, green onions, and red bell peppers. It makes waking up a little bit easier!
Don't forget, if you're feeling hungry, you can always snack on a Vukoo bar too! They make great meal replacements and happen to be delicious. Try subbing when you're craving a sweet snack!
